Our Corals Basel collection merges the best coral art sculpture artists under the same umbrella to embody a message of coral reef awareness. Coral reefs bleach when they are about to die, after being so colorful they turned white right before dying. In this collection, the artists wanted to embrace this transformation to create awareness about our coral reefs' decay.
Stephanie Kilgast, one of our featured artists, took a spin on bleaching when she created a colorful reef on a bleach plastic water bottle. The bottle represents they decay in our society for letting this happen to such an important ecosystem.
